TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in Grade K and 2 for 4 years with my own class and have done cover teaching from Grades Pre-K to 5.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love hands on exploration learning. Watching the children’s faces when they discover something for themselves is just amazing.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to University and studied Teaching with Qualified Teacher Status. After that I studied (whilst teaching) for a Post-Grad certificate in Innovation in Teaching and Learning. I have also gained a certificate in TEFL, Teaching English as a Foreign Language. At my current school, I was fortunate enough to be put forward for the OTI (Outstanding Teacher Initiative) certificate which I passed.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love being outdoors in my spare time, playing lots of sport. I also run a Girl Scout group.
