TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I enjoy teaching! I have experience in grades PK, K,1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I have taught in general education, special education, early intervention and inclusion classrooms. I currently teach fourth grade. I absolutely love it! I enjoy creating activities, lessons, project based instruction, and powerpoints to be incorporated into the classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use quite a lot of technology in the classroom. I also enjoy using many hands on activities and visuals. I always differentiate in the classroom to make sure that every child gets what they need. Most of the items that I have posted on my teacherspayteacher store reflect the organization that I thrive on in the classroom. This year, I have added project based instruction rubrics and activities to my classroom and store. My goal is to have fun and engaging projects for my students. Please don't let me forget about the fact that I truly LOVE my students and enjoy creating a positive classroon environment for everyone!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been a teacher of the year nominee and finalist several times.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Adelphi University in New York. I aquired an MS in Educational Technology degree from Long Island University in New York. I would love to go back to school to receive a doctorate degree.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I currently live in the suburbs North of Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and 3 children. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and creating fun activities.
