Description

Project based learning is an important part of every classroom. Students need to learn through inquiry to develop higher order thinking skills. Project based instruction allows our students to learn through rigorous activities. The posters that I created will remind students and teachers of all the essential components of a good project. Students will break up into groups to pick a topic, form their driving question, investigate, and present their topic. These projects are student centered, so students need to be given choices. I have included a title page and 7 steps to project based learning. The 7 steps include: What do I need to know? , What is my driving question? , How do I have a voice and a choice? , How do 21st century skills help me to learn? , How can I generate and investigate questions? , How can feedback and revision make my project more meaningful? , and How can I present my project and reflect on my work?. Under each poster title, I added a small definition of what will be done on that step. For my classroom, I printed them on cardstock, laminated and attached with ribbon.
