TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since "the earth cooled". My husband is a teacher as well, and together we have over 80 years of teaching in the elementary, middle school, high school and college areas. My focus is mathematics while my husband's is science. We never want to do anything else because we love it! My teaching style is hands-on and energetic while using diverse teaching strategies. I try to teach ordinary things in extraordinary ways.

MY TEACHING STYLE

For the last ten years I have taught at a community college working with "mathphobics" I have taught remedial math, and algebraic concepts as well as tutoring in the math lab. The other classes I teach are "Conquering College" which is a three hour course for all new freshmen, a one hour personal development class for those students taking math and/or science, and a math study skills class.
