I have taught four-year-old kindergarten for almost 15 years.
I value the importance of play in early childhood and believe it is the most developmentally appropriate way to teach young children. With the push for higher academics at a younger age, my goal is to develop ways to teach academic standards in a playful approach.

* Bachelor of Science in PreK-6th Education from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. * Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. I wrote my thesis on the benefits of play in early childhood and was an active member in launching the University’s "Play Institute".
I enjoy changing and developing curriculum to match my students' actual abilities and needs. My goal is to take a main concept and develop something new that sparks thought and imagination from my students.
