Description
It’s Okay to be Different (Todd Parr) extension activity.
Use this activity to celebrate differences! NOTE: The book, It's Okay to be Different by Todd Parr enhances the lesson, but you can complete this activity without it.
Your students will make their own class book page to celebrate differences and similarities. This activity is meant to be sent home for families to complete with their child, but could also be done in class. Each child will then have an opportunity to share his or her class book page in class. As you discuss differences, emphasize that is OK!
You can edit your class name in the Adobe PDF, or handwrite it.
