TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am the Instructional Technology Specialist at Mount Saint Mary College. Before that I was a, College adjunct instructor for six years, teaching computer technologies to adults from age range 25 to 86. As well as teaching summer camp for grades thirds through sixth for the same duration. Teaching assistant for four years at a Boces in a fifth through eighth grade classroom using computer based learning and adaptive technology

MY TEACHING STYLE

I find opened lessons and Project Based learning to be the most effective way for students, young and "old", to learn in their best way.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Dean's Award for Excellence in Instructional Technology from the New York Institute of Technology ( NYIT ).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduate With Distinction from NYIT May 31st of 2018 M.S. Instructional Technology GPA: 4.0 New York State Certified: Educational Technology Specialist Pre-K through 12th grade. Graduate Mount Saint Mary College B.A. in History Education 7-12 Adjunct Instructor for computer science at Dutchess Community College for Six years. Teaching Assistant at Dutchess Boces for four years. Recently Tenured.
