I have taught 2 years in a Bilingual Language Arts class at the 5th grade level. I now teach both preschool and Kindergarten Spanish Immersion at a Christian School. I love watching the kids grow and develop, especially in the area of language acquisition.

I began to study Spanish in high school and continued to enjoy learning the language in college. I graduated from Calvin College with a major in Spanish, a minor in bilingual education, and a minor in elementary education.

I married my high school sweetheart seven years ago and now we have beautiful twin boys!
