TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught every age group from infants to high school seniors. Most of my experience is in the middle grades, where I taught French, literacy, and ESL.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is eclectic. I believe using strategies in auditory, visual, tactile are important. I also believe in giving students choice as much as possible. I use integrated assessments, project based learning, as well as flipping the classroom for optimum learning and to foster autonomy.

Fulbright TGC Fellow, 2021-2022 I received rookie of the year in 1996 during my first year of teaching at Patterson High School, Baltimore, MD I received the Golden Apple Award Nomination, 2016 & 2017 Teacher of the Month, December 2018 My student was the 2022 World Language Student of the Year
