TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught high track 7th grade biology in a girls' parochial school since 1998, as well as 6th grade Earth science, 6th grade English, 6th grade remedial English, and 6th and 8th grade math, at various times. My principal seems to have confidence that I can teach any class into which she puts me, so hopefully I'm not a Jack of all trades, but master of none!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to engage my students with extra cool facts and trivia, to liven up whatever material I teach, as well as to try to make it relevant to their lives. My goal is to get my students to think. I love teaching middle school kids, because they are just developing analytical thinking skills, and I get to watch the lightbulbs turning on as they figure something out.
