Jennifer Hadfield

Jenn- I have taught fifth grade for the past seven years. Before that I taught fourth grade and some gifted enrichment classes. During my summers I spend time working summer school programs working with ESOL students from grades K-2. I graduated with a bachelors degree from Fontbonne University. Lastly, I have had the opportunity to teach college students about differentiation. Tom- I have taught fifth grade for four years, and third grade for five years. Currently, I teach pysical education to students in grades K-5. I graduated from Mizzou with a bachelors and masters degree. My area of study throughout my masters program was writing. Finally, I have taught education methods classes at the university level.

We are both student-centered teachers that love to put a creative spin on everyday lessons. You can watch Jenn cheer and sing in her classroom, and Tom to prepare story surgery (edit strategy) in his classroom. Working with diverse children, we offer differentiated lessons, project-based learning, and a workshop- based structure within our daily process. We both love our jobs, and continue to learn from our students everyday!
