TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in the midst of my second decade teaching at the high school level. My subjects include junior and senior English, the Social Sciences and Canadian Law, although I will teach whatever they send my way!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every class is different, and I adjust my methods accordingly. Regardless of all other factors, I strive to treat each student with respect and to approach each day with a sense of humour.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I completed a 2 year diploma program at Sheridan College in Oakville and spent 2 years as a travel agent before deciding that I was not cut out for the world of sales. I returned to uni at 23 attending the University of Waterloo. I achieved my BA English Literature with Honours and went on to the University of Auckland in New Zealand to do my BEd. I returned to my home town and am currently teaching at my old high school side by side with some of my former teachers! (It only took my 3 months to call them by their first names!)
