TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked as an Elementary teacher since 2005 in Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, and Buffalo, NY. My focus has primarily been in upper elementary classrooms teaching Math and Science. I have worked as a STEM Coach and I currently work as an Instructional Technology Specialist for Chicago Public Schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is warm and strict. Students work for me because they know that I care. I treat my students like I would want my own child treated within a classroom. I create my curriculum to engage and spark curiosity. I try my best to remain innovative and creative. My goal is to make technology accessible for all and I have been incorporating technology within my classroom since 2014.
