Since 2015, I have been teaching K-5 General Music, 4th & 5th Grade Choir, 5th Grade Band, and 5th Grade String Orchestra. I have worked in the public school systems of Rhode Island, New York, and Arizona.
My teaching style is very oriented towards active participation. While providing instruction with animation and enthusiasm, I utilize a variety of Kagan Structures to facilitate cooperation and communication in the classroom. I believe that a well designed lesson is engaging for all learning styles and individual needs.
Yet to be added
Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from The University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
I strive to create high-quality instructional resources that engage students and motivate educators. Most of my products are well-structured slide presentations that cover a wide range of music topics. These can be sequential for teaching in units, or used independently. As I use these presentations in my own teaching, I refine and improve them frequently. You are welcome (and encouraged) to make any changes. If you have any issues, PLEASE email me at andgugliotta@gmail.com. I am relatively quick to respond. Honest ratings, comments, and feedback are highly appreciated!
