Description

This series of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) resources was born out of a desire for SWBAT statements that could easily be posted in my own classroom. While I completely understood and appreciated the importance of daily posting student learning goals (SWBAT or “I Can” statements), I have to admit that I wished I could reclaim the time spent writing them on the board. I also wished I had room to post more than one or two learning goals.

The Secondary History/Social Studies SWBAT Statements are derived from the Common Core State Standards. Some standards have been split into smaller portions focused on specific skills which can be copied and pasted into lesson plans. This product is designed to be used in conjunction with the rest of the resources in the series:

· Secondary History/Social Studies Standards freebie - designed to be copied and pasted into lesson plans

· Secondary History/Social Studies SWBAT Chart - designed to display learning goals in pocket charts

· Secondary History/Social Studies Standards Tracker - designed to track standards covered during the school year

You can save money by purchasing the Secondary History/Social Studies Bundle which includes all four products.
