Secondary History/Social Studies Bundle

This series of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) resources was born out of a desire for SWBAT statements that could easily be posted in my own classroom. While I completely understood and appreciated the importance of daily posting student learning goals (SWBAT or “I Can” statements), I have to admit that I wished I could reclaim the time spent writing them on the board. I also wished I had room to post more than one or two learning goals.

When planning your instruction, you can copy and paste standards from the Secondary History/Social Studies Standards freebie and SWBAT statements from the Secondary History/Social Studies SWBAT Statements directly into your lesson plans. Then post the SWBAT statements from the Secondary History/Social Studies SWBAT Chart using a pocket chart to let your students know the learning goals for the day.
