Description

This series of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) resources was born out of a desire for SWBAT statements that could easily be posted in my own classroom. While I completely understood and appreciated the importance of daily posting student learning goals (SWBAT or “I Can” statements), I have to admit that I wished I could reclaim the time spent writing them on the board. I also wished I had room to post more than one or two learning goals.

The 8th Grade ELA Standards Tracker is designed to track Common Core State Standards covered during the school year. Avoid those unexpected “holes” in your instruction by using this product to give you an at-a-glance look at the standards already covered. Either print the checklist to use manually or use the table embedded in the PowerPoint to digitally track standards. This product is editable so pages may be copied if more space is needed. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the rest of the resources in the series:

· 8th Grade ELA Standards freebie - designed to be copied and pasted into lesson plans

· 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Chart - designed to display learning goals in pocket charts

· 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Statements - designed to be copied and pasted into lesson plans

You can save money by purchasing the 8th Grade ELA Bundle which includes all four products.
