    Description

This series of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) resources was born out of a desire for SWBAT statements that could easily be posted in my own classroom. While I completely understood and appreciated the importance of daily posting student learning goals (SWBAT or “I Can” statements), I have to admit that I wished I could reclaim the time spent writing them on the board. I also wished I had room to post more than one or two learning goals.

The 8th Grade ELA Bundle includes the following products:

    · 8th Grade ELA Standards freebie

    · 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Statements

    · 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Chart

    · 8th Grade ELA Standards Tracker

When planning your instruction, you can copy and paste standards from the 8th Grade ELA Standards freebie and SWBAT statements from the 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Statements directly into your lesson plans. Then post the SWBAT statements from the 8th Grade ELA SWBAT Chart using a pocket chart to let your students know the learning goals for the day. Be sure to record which standards you covered on the 8th Grade ELA Standards Tracker.
