This is a unit that I have created that can easily be used with students in 2-5 grades.
Students will use construction paper to create a portrait of a Frankenstein-like monster. Without showing this portrait to the other students, they will write a descriptive paragraph about their portrait. On the final day of the unit the descriptive paragraphs will be read aloud to the class and the students will guess which portrait each paragraph is describing.
