Gabby Douglas: Free Differentiated Biography Passages and Reading Comprehension
Your big kids will love reading about Olympic gymnastics champion, Gabby Douglas! It's a great way to integrate social studies and literacy with a high-interest topic. The entire file is a print and go, so that you have more time to teach and need less to time prep.
The biography passage comes in three different reading levels, allowing you to easily differentiate for your students. Passages are leveled at 3-3.5, 4-5, and 6-7.

9/11 FREEBIE America Mini-Book
This patriotic mini-book is a sample of my larger unit "Remembering September 11th with Little Ones" which includes writing prompts, graphic organizers, and 3 math and 3 reading center activities. This is a very sensitive topic, especially when teaching young children. This unit allows teachers to focus on the Twin Towers and patriotism, without discussing the sensitive aspects of the event.
