Crime and Law (B): Explorations of types of crime (Adult ESL Unit)
In this interactive and multi-faceted lesson students will learn, study, and discuss various distinctions of crime, as well as how social status affects crime and punishment. They will do an integrated activity involving cyber crime using a listening passage from NPR's Diane Rehm show on the illusion of online security. They will greatly expand their vocabulary, and in the course of this study, have opportunities to practice using noun clauses as embedded questions.
