I currently am a Children's Librarian and teach Infant and preschool story time. I create my lessons for each month long session. We run our programs for a month in the Fall and Spring only. Each lesson is designed for a one day session per week for a month. Can be used in any such way you see fit. Each month I develop a theme and create a rhyme and song handout for the parents to use during storytime and take home with them for practice!

MENTAL HEALTH: LEARNING ABOUT MOTIVATION
This is a lesson for blended learning - appropriate for Grades 9 and 10 as an Introduction to Basic Concepts in Psychology.
The unit covers the topic of motivation: understanding our own behavior, and the behavior of others.
The lesson has: An introductory phase - basic concepts and key words, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and followed by 3 exercises to be done at home and followed up in the classroom. The final phase is a brief assessment of 10 questions with answers included.
