Musical Math: Grade Four Fractions Unit
This is a thematic unit plan for Grade 4 (Ontario Curriculum) that combines fractions with musical composition. It is cross-curricular by bringing music and math together in a meaningful way.

Pizzeria Fractions Menu
I use this with a game to teach fraction up to eighths. We set up a Pizzeria in the classroom. I divide class into two teams. One team will place the order using this menu and the other team will deliver the correct amount of pizza. Then the teams switch roles. The game difficulty could be modified for any age K-4.
