PowerPoint for Writing Choose and Do Substitute Plan
This is a PowerPoint I designed for students to "Choose and Do" writing activities. I have left this for emergency sub plans and it has worked really well.
The idea is that students watch the PowerPoint and "Choose" three of the writing tasks (12 to choose from!) and complete them by the end of class. There are a variety of topics ranging from persuasive topics to reflecting on quotes.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" power point
This power point is designed to include all materials a teacher would need to teach the unit. The power point begins with background information on Shakespeare, covers the Globe theatre, then leads to the play itself.
