Decision Making using YRBS Data

This is a three day "unit" that focuses on how our values, beliefs and attitudes impact our behavior. It works as a great introduction into decision-making and risk-taking behaviors. Day one the students address the difference between norms and perceived norms. On day two, the national YRBS data is presented and compared to the "class norms." Next, the students compare national data to their state data. Each lesson ends with an exit ticket that addresses norms, or decision making.
