This is the actual lesson plan I used in my preschool classrooms for the 2015-16 school year. This lesson plan brought my averages to: 22 upper and lowercase letters identified, 10 sight-words, 100% identified the numbers 0-10, 9/10 colors, 7/8 shapes and the average student counted to 36. This was a co-taught class with both special ed and gen ed students. I make a packet for each child to keep in their desk to use as a reference and as a go to when they need something to do. It contains references for rote counting, money, 3-D shapes, and time.
