Here is a sample year plan that I like to use as a guide to my teaching for French Immersion Grade 1 Reading. I like to divide my goals into terms and months to have a clear picture of where I would like my teaching to go. Of course, this is a flexible plan and goals and timelines change based on the various range of levels of my students. I have also included assessment goals for reporting to steer my teaching. I also like to have this handy as a guide for parents or administration meeting.
