An Excel file you can use to plan elementary specials/electives, with common planning time for grade levels.This works with about 24 sections; our actual schedule was more complicated because we had jobshares and not exactly 3 classes per grade, but this is the overall skeleton.It requires 3.0 FTE specials teachers to staff, e.g. 1 PE, 1 Art, 0.5 Library, and 0.5 Counselor (who didn't teach classes full-time because they had other duties).Each grade level is shown with 3 sections—A, B, and C.The
