Finding the Funny Prt 1
I decided to teach a unit on humor after having several "class clowns" that really were not that funny! My students were very engaged in learning about humor and I found my behavior problem students were not problems during this study. My students gained a better understanding of humor, learned to work together more successfully and analyze and examine text and video material much more deeply. We incorporated lots of writing as well with minimal student grumbling!
