It includes handouts explaining what public speaking is, why it is needed, the keys to becoming successful at public speaking, a handout for students to fill out about over-used/informal words, and overviews of oral interpretation of literature, impromptu speaking, and expository speaking including an introduction to visual aides.

This is a self-assessment for effective communication. It has a series of questions to help reflect on personal and interpersonal aspects of communication as well as a log for communication situations. I have used effectively this with students and staff as self-reflection, to guide discussion, and to track changes as a pre and post assessment.

Gallery Hops are a great way to scrap the old classroom presentation model. They promote student-to-student verbal and listening skills, dial down student anxiety, can save a lot of classroom time, and allow flexibility (for you as the teacher, too). This worksheet is a one-size-fits-all activity. You could use this at the end of a learning window to evaluate a variety of assignments students deem as "their best work".
