Before learning of the importance of fruits and vegetables to the human body, students must first be able to identify fruits and vegetables by their pictures. Most students should know by the pictures which are fruits and which are vegetables. Along with this the basic names of each may be known, but not emphasized in this activity. This is an editable template for an Exercise Wheel printed on 8.5" X 11" paper. Page 1 is the wheel base and page 2 is a sheet of arrows. Use brass fasteners to attach arrows. I used an X-acto to slice an X in the middle of the wheel to hold the brad in place and a regular hole-punch to punch the arrow so it would be able to spin freely. When attaching the brass fastener, be sure to leave space above the paper so the arrow is not held tightly.

I went the somewhat generic route of finding a penny image on Google and copy/pasting that onto the card! I then laminated all of the cards and gave them to the kids on the last day. They make neat little mementos or bookmarks and the kid
