This unit is the Digestive System but broken down into three levels. This is level 1 of 3. It provides a lot of support with reading, copying for the writing, answers underlined in the text to be copied, pronunciations and repeated practice. Level 2 has these same supports just more rigor for the student. Level 3 is still supported but more text-heavy and includes writing and study guide. Analyzing the Flu Pandemic of 1918 Through Primary Sources
The slideshow contains 17 primary documents (photos, letters, political cartoons, etc.) related to the flu pandemic of 1918. All sources for the documents are included. Students can use the Library of Congress Primary Document Analysis Tool to analyze one or more of the primary documents (http://www.loc.gov/teachers/primary-source-analysis-tool/). Extension: Students can compare/contrast the primary documents with documents from the current Covid-19 pandemic.
