Teaching Respect with Finding Nemo
Teaching the social skill of respect by watching Finding Nemo- a fun activity for the classroom to enjoy! Our class fills out the guide, and then we have a discussion about the shift between the disrespectful points at the beginning of the movie and then the respectful points that happen at the end. It is a great shift in how giving independence to someone regardless of disability is a sign of respect.
