Compare and Contrast - Op-ed writing and memoir writing
In this lesson, students will learn how to compare and contrast different types of writing. The first element included in this lesson is an op-ed published by Crystal Bui in the Chicago Tribune where she argues the need to hold a chancellor making racist remarks accountable. The second element is the chapter from Crystal Bui's memoir where she describes the same racist incident, using narrative speaking style.
