Homemade ice cream in a bag experiment, focused around solids, liquids, and gases. Used in unison with the equivalent and comparing fractions unit. For the activity, students were given the recipe in equivalent fractions of the measuring cup fraction amounts. They had to find the equivalent fraction so they knew which measuring cup to use. It was super fun, and the students loved it!
