Middle School Science Lab - Measuring Mass with the Triple Beam Balance
Using the triple beam balance is a necessary science skill. Despite multiple exposures and practice to this piece of equipment, many students will still struggle to read the balance, calibrate the balance, and accurately use the balance to measure the mass of items. There are photographs of the balance to post on a SmartBoard or print for students to assess their ability to read this.
