J'aime/Qui aime? Les Animaux de Compagnie
Have you ever played "J'ai//Qui a?" This is the same timed game loved by students, focusing on the verbs "aimer" and "d���©tester" A student says "J'aime le chien. Qui aime le chat?" DINOSAURS BLOOMS UNIT
To open and edit this unit you need Microsoft Publisher. This 23 page Dinosaurs unit contains everything you need to create an exciting classroom atmosphere while facilitating independent learning. It is set out under Bloom's 6 levels and as tasks become increasing challenging, allocated points rise accordingly. I have taught this unit with Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 and have found that students love to keep score of the points they earn, which in turn lead to rewards.

Magic Treehouse: Lions at Lunchtime Webquest
This webquest on the Magic Treehouse book about an African adventure includes skills like compare and contrast, making predictions, and summarizing. French sight word Matching Game / Puzzle
Here is a 20 page document with approximately 100 k-2 sight words en français. These cards should be cut out, and then each cut in half, to be made into a puzzle. Each animal has one word on it, meant to be cut in half so the student must find the other half of the sight word. This works great with visual and tactile learners.
