Parts of a Seed
Use this page to teach students the parts of a seed. Soak fresh seeds (We used lima beans) in water until they absorb water, the seed coat starts to come off, and they start to split open. Should take several hours. Students will each get their own seed and will be able to identify each part on their seed. They will tape each part of their seed to the bottom of their paper.

Daily Behavior Chart
This is a behavior chart that can be used daily. I use it for my students that have behavior issues. I go over it each day with the child and they help fill it out themselves. There is a student with severe behavioral issues on my caseload who also requires visuals. This version of a check-in/check-out sheet really works for him because he can earn points even if he messes up a little bit, and he can see what comes next in his day. They are easy to write on if changes to the schedule happen. Suggestion: Laminate to use day to day with a dry-erase marker.
