Good Choices/Bad Choices: Visual Consequences
This is a simple, but effective visual strategy I use with my kids. The student and myself come up with the positive and negative consequences of our actions. These actions can be complex or extremely simple. Sometimes, in the midst of a meltdown, I can quickly pull out one of these papers and fill it out on the fly. It has truly helped my students see the consequences of their actions and complete tasks at a much higher rate.
