This short poem activity is perfect for those who finish early but still need "brain work" to occupy them. I use this activity for my students to accumulate test tickets in my classroom. I am blind with some remaining vision. Accordingly, I relied on audio book programs and apps throughout my education. Parent Approval Letter for Classroom Library
This is a letter I keep in my library for books that I know are controversial. I keep about 20 copies in my "Parent Must Approve" section of my classroom library. This has been a lifesaver.
All parents have different expectations for what their kids will read. I want to provide a wide variety of young adult literature to my students. It literally takes about a minute to fill this out and send it home. Parent feedback has been positive!
