The book has a total of 38 pages...the table of contents thumbnail did format the correct way, but is visually formatted correctly in the downloaded document.

Homework Helper - Converting Fractions to Decimals
Parents often ask how they can help their child with math homework. What better way then to have the steps of how to solve the problems.
The Homework Helper sheet goes step by step on how to convert a fraction to a decimal. Sometimes the numbers are easy to work with especially if they are factors of 10, 100, 1000,....
Other times the student needs to use division.
Hopefully the process I have written is easy to understand.

These are formulas to help the student learn to work with fractions. It gives simple formulas with examples and vocabulary for reducing fractions, turning improper fractions into mixed numbers, and a few more too. There are color coded examples to make the understanding even easier. I write so the student can understand it with little to no support from the teacher! These are great under the overhead projectors, or to hand out to the students.

Equivelent Fractions- Online Computer Manipulative Center
Finding and observing equivelent fractions can sometimes be a difficult task for some students. This online manipulative site, allows students to see a fraction and then watch as an equivelent fraction matches up. This is built with a self-check feature so that this can be an independent center for review or remediation.

This handout is an informational writeup for teachers or parents to help understand using models to multiply and divide fractions and decimals. I used it to send home with my students so their parents could see what we were doing in class and so they did not jump to the traditional algorithm with their kids.
