Sadako and The Thousand Paper Cranes Background Information and Questions
This Smartboard presentation gives a brief background of Hiroshima, and what the 1000 paper cranes are about. Then it has a slide with photos to give a visual of what a crane looks like, what a paper crane looks like, and the statue of Sadako. The Turkey Trot Smartboard Accompaniment
This file will provide teachers with Smartboards a visual accompaniment to the Turkey Trot game board.
I have found it useful to play a demonstration game of teacher vs. students, using the cards with the skill(s) that the students will be practicing, before letting the students play with one another.
