Spring/Earth Day SMART Board Attendance Activity *Bundle* (3 Activities)
This bundle has three Spring and Earth Day themed SMART Board Attendance Activities. SOUNDS are included for all three activities. Each attendance activity comes with a direction page specific to the activity. There are two options for each attendance activity--a numbered page (if you assign students numbers) and a page where you can change student names.

Earth Day Recycling SMART Board Attendance Activity w/ SOUND
Celebrate Earth Day and encourage recycling through the use of this fun and engaging SMART Board attendance activity. Students move their recyclable item to the recycling bin. Students then click the bin to hear the recycling truck back up and do its job!

Spring Themed Flowers and Raindrops SMART Board Attendance Activity w/ SOUND

This product is a pop quiz that you can do individually or as a group. Using this tool, you can quiz student knowledge of the elements of art.
This quiz is 5 pages of popular artworks and a list of the elements of art. Students are asked to match the elements with each picture. Learning and assessment occurs in the discussion of the reasons for their choice.

Exploring History through Art: Art of the Renaissance and Middle Ages
A short Smartboard (Notebook) presentation with compares and contrasts art from the Middle Ages vs. art from the Renaissance. This presentation also gives a background on the Mona Lisa and lets students come up with their own theories.

Picasso Cubism Overview
This is a SMARTnotebook lesson about Pablo Picasso and his Cubist style of artwork. It includes links to a video, colouring pages and more, as well as a hands on lesson idea to complete after the theory part of the lesson.
This lesson was originally made for a special education high school class, and is suitable for most ages.
This would also be a great lesson for a relief teacher to use, as it requires minimal preparation.

Paleolithic Cave Paintings
A hands on learning experience replicating the paleolithic cave paintings found in Lascaux, France.
First, we read the article https://www.ancient.eu/Lascaux_Cave/ to learn all about it.
Then, look at pictures, examples, and descriptions on the SMART presentation.
Lastly, the students create their own art (laying on the floor under their desks in a dark room).
The students LOVE this activity. There's no better way to learn than to experience it!!
