Trigonometry Golf
I like to call this activity Putt-Putt-Geometry. It is 9 glorious holes of trigonometry application! This works great as a Trig unit project, end of year project, or test review (maybe 1 or 2 holes for review). The students can work in groups, pairs, or individuals. If your students are not proficient with Trig, or you have not covered it yet, each hole can be done using the Pythagorean Theorem instead - simply tweak the directions a bit. I hope your students enjoy this as much as mine do!

Indirect Measurement Project: similar triangles, right triangle trigonometry
This is an outdoor project with 5 stations for students to acquire hands on experience with indirect measuring using different tools, right triangle trig, and similar triangles.

Right-Triangle Trig flowchart
Simple flowchart for students to get the procedures for solving right-triangle trig problems.
I've found this most useful after a short calculator tutorial and a part of a lesson of solidifying the labels (hypotenuse/opposite/adjacent) of a right triangle and hammering home the idea of a reference angle that is generically called theta.

Using Cards for Trig Ratios
Use a deck (or several - the local dollar store has the 2/$1) of standard playing cards. I only use A - 9 to ensure both all angles stay acute.
I have used this activity as a chance for extra credit after the students get done with their work, or as a group activity during review...really for anything.
The only thing I require the kids turn in other than the filled-out charts is a piece of notebook paper with their drawings and work.
