This Google Sheets game, color changing, self-check game has worked out solutions included, allowing Algebra students to get immediate feedback and increase mastery. Math Questions are scaffolded to give practice on pre-requisite skills for Quadratic Formula. Also great as an intervention activity inside rotations. RELAX! All the hassle has been done for you :) Students utilize PEMDAS to solve and there are even questions that incorporate splitting equations due to having plus-or-minus symbols.

Solve quadratic equations by square rooting/ square root method fillable notes
Unit 4: Solving Quadratics, 4.2 Solve by square root method. (see 4.1 notes for the previous lesson on factor / graphing). Students use these scaffolded notes / graphic organizers to solve quadratic equations in vertex form by square rooting or the square root method. One and Two Step Equations Problem Trail
My students love this activity that gets them moving! Have students start at various stations around the room, correct solutions will send them on to the next problem to complete. By then end all students should have completed all 8 problems and loop back to the beginning. I love that this allows students to work at their own pace, and catch their own mistakes if they get sent to a problem they have already done.
