Often time in our music class, the kids love to continue playing their instruments regardless of how many times I say, "resting position." I have found that the children respond very will to the stop/go visuals. I have made some big ones that you can use for quick reference, or you can print off the smaller cards so that each child can have their own reminder right in front of them.
