ABC's Chart - East Africa
A chart for categorizing note-taking or vocabulary words over a subject. As I have used it, while reading, students need to find one word for each letter that begins with that same letter. Also within the box, they need to explain the background/relevance of that word in relation to the topic (in this case, East Africa).
I have also used this as a review activity, where students sort vocabulary words/synonyms for them into the ABC's of a topic. Students could also use this as a pre-writing act
