Cornell Notes Prefixes and Suffixes
This Cornell notes frame is great for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students in AVID schools. It introduces prefixes and suffixes and gives students some basic procedures for adding a suffix to a base word (for example, removing the letter e from the base word before adding the suffix).

Mary Anning: The Girl Who Cracked Open the World Vocabulary
These vocabulary cards have helped my 4th grade students tremendously. There are 11 words students should be aware of while reading the story. Each page has a front page with the words and the second page matches up with their semantic link. This can be used as a game or a study tool. A great way to help students recognize these words is printing them out, laminating them, hole punching them, and placing them on a binder ring. Hope this helps!
