This is the MP4 of the film, the narration, 16 screenshots (scrambled and in order), and lesson plans for the Red Balloon. All suitable for French 1 and up. Everything is editable.I use the Red Balloon film with my French 1 students. It is an authentic, classic French film, and it's a perfect film to narrate because there is (almost) no speaking in it. The movie itself is only about 30 minutes long. It only takes a few minutes for my students to get invested in the story. This script would b

This is a 2-day unit. It is entirely in French. The film is rated PG-13, and the only questionable part (which you can easily skip with kids) happens in Day 2, and I put a note in the Day 2 guide about it for the teacher.I designed this entire unit to take place after the students have learned the subjunctive, but it also includes space to work on the past tense (p.c. and imparfait) and the conditional. I divided the film into two days, so each segment is 36-ish minutes. This zip file includes:-

"Minuit à Paris"/"Midnight in Paris" worksheet

This is a French worksheet designed to accompany the film "Midnight in Paris" for a French class. I used it for a French III class while they watched the movie in French (with English subtitles), though it can be easily modified for more advanced levels. Also, on the third page is a follow-up activity for students to do after they have watched the film, which is tailored to accompany learning the subjunctive (but again, it can be modified, such as to accompany learning "devoir").
