Function of ingredients in quick breads
This is a fun and quicker lab to introduce quick breads to the students. This lab will allow students to follow step-by-step directions in making pancakes (quick bread), and analyze and explore the function for each ingredient that goes into the pancake. It is always a hit in my classes!Great for both junior high/middle school and high school students.

5 Visual Recipes and Reviews
There are 5 different recipes for cooking that have pictures paired with the ingredients, tools, and steps. Each recipe has a review after it for the students to go over what they made. The recipes are for Peanut Butter Cereal Bites, Apple Pie Bites, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Hot Dogs, and Rice Krispy Marshmallows. These are great to help teach students to identify items needed for a recipe and learn to independently follow the steps.

Nutrient Portfolio Prompt/Rubric
Great learning tool for nutrition and nutrient lessons using foldables and interactive notebooks! Allows the students to put their own personal flair to their learning, while encouraging the citing of sources and being organized. At the end, I made mine worth a test grade because of all of the hardwork that went into them.

12 different quotes and images of likeness of a variety of powerful women within history. Editable for you add to the list, just copy and paste for formatting!I cut out each section into 2 pieces. fold paper in half, put quote on the front (outside), and have student guess the woman before showing them the image!
